Yappy Hour

PetNet, a group of young professionals associated with Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, recently hosted a networking “Yappy Hour” at Sushi Jo’s on Tuesday, July 14. Local pet-lovers and PetNet members sipped on saketinis while their four-legged friends enjoyed gourmet doggie treats. The event raised $600 towards the daily care of the dogs and cats located at the rescue league.

In addition, a raffle was held which featured pooch-friendly items from popular doggie businesses including Wolfgang Bakery, Pampered Pup, Haute Hound and Hey Pup. The raffle proceeds will directly benefit the organization’s adoption program, shelter, spay and neuter clinic, and other pet rescue services.

PetNet is a group of young professionals in Palm Beach County dedicated to the humane treatment of animals. PetNet’s goals are to promote responsible pet ownership, educate others about caring for animals, raise funds to help pets in need, and expand the volunteer base for Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League.
